BIO FOR RICHARD BUTLER
Richard started playing music in 1992 after completing a TAFE music course in Brisbane which incorporated live sound.
Richard also completed a Teaching Degree at the Southern Cross University in Lismore in 2000. He also got a degree in music and guitar.
Richard began his career in sound production after this and now has his own sound production company RB Sound.
Richard is a professional session musician who is often called upon by local touring acts.
Richard has performed in several successful bands on the Fraser Coast over the years, the most notable being “Uncle Arthur”
Richard currently performs with a successful local band the Rhubarb Tarts and also the Bobkatz.
Richard is a skilled guitarist, keyboardist, singer and sound engineer and has seen a lot of changes in the music industry over the years.
