Arrival Information

We are excited to have you visit our exceptional Park! To ensure a smooth arrival, please follow the security gate instructions provided during the booking process. On the day of your arrival, your phone number will be registered with the gate at 2pm.  Check-in time begins from 2pm onwards, allowing us to maintain the park’s pristine condition. Kindly refrain from arriving early and expecting the gate to open.

If you are arriving outside of hours there will be a map on the office door.  No entry to set up your campsite after 10pm.

One vehicle equals one site.  You can fit more than one vehicle on any of the sites – you simply need to make a separate booking for each vehicle that comes through the gate so a separate phone number can be registered with that vehicle.  If the site you require is not available and you want to camp next to friends or family on another site, simply mention that in the comments of your booking and we will ensure you are relocated beside them.

We want your camping experience to be amazing, so we kindly ask that you set up your camp only in the designated site assigned to you. This helps us prevent any overbooking issues and ensures a smooth stay for everyone. However, if you have a specific reason for wanting to switch campsites, just swing by the office and chat with us beforehand. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request, as long as the site is available. (This doesn’t apply to large group bookings, as we have special arrangements for those)

If you find yourself in need of firewood during your stay simply collect when you arrive.  We have 15kg crates of hardwood available for $15 upon arrival.  We have conveniently scattered firepits throughout the park, and you’re more than welcome to move them around to suit your campsite preferences.  So go ahead and enjoy a cosy campfire evening!

If you are going to K’gari (Fraser Island) and you need a lift to the Kingfisher ferry office or the bus for a day trip,  we can arrange this for you – cost is $20 for up to 4 people.  We try to keep our prices as low as possible so you can enjoy more experiences while visiting the Fraser Coast region.

Mozzie & Midge protection

Hey there! Just a heads up, during the summer months, when the temperature is above 25 degrees,  especially after heavy rainfall, those pesky midges and mosquitoes can be quite bothersome. So, it’s a good idea to pack some mozzie coils to keep them at bay. Don’t worry though, we’ve got you covered! We have a fantastic range of 100% DEET-free products from Good Riddance that we personally use and highly recommend.

Remember, we’re nestled in a stunning natural environment surrounded by water and a magnificent 40-acre bushland area dedicated to Land for Wildlife. So, it’s always a good idea to be prepared and make the most of your time here.  Safe travels and see you soon!

Rosie the camp manager

If our dog Rosie comes to visit you, please don’t feed her and if she is annoying simply point to the house and say “go home”.

Rosie usually has her scarf on and she will come and greet you.  She is a very friendly dog and loves belly rubs.

Rosie also handles any complaints.

Power

We are not like a conventional caravan park where you park next to a power bollard and have a concrete slab.  We have 3 bollards with 4 outlets and 4 hose connections.  You are only limited to where you can park by the length of your lead & hose.  ONE VEHICLE = ONE SITE so if your friends want to come and stay they should book a site – any site and mention in the comments the site they prefer so we can ensure you are all camped together.

Pictured is Power Paddock at full capacity. We pride ourselves in offering boutique camping with plenty of space – we do not overbook space – we offer a unique experience on a unique property – we are not like a normal caravan park – we are a nature based RV Park.
